- 1 weekend (~17 hours) of instruction and practice
- several weekly followup sessions to practice and ask questions
- a certificate of completion, a Reiki 1 manual, a journal, and a copy of Louise L. Hay's "Heal Your Body".

Course Description:
This is a very comprehensive course. Besides being attuned to the Reiki energies (which makes you a channel for life!) we will also cover:
- How to perform a Reiki treatment
- The History of Reiki
- The Reiki Principles
- Several methods of Clearing and Grounding
- Several different meditations, including welcoming Reiki guides and helpers
- Creating a sacred space, including the difference between "secret" and "sacred"
- The difference between Reiki and other "similar" modalities
- Gassho
- Treatment Ethics, including stewardship at this level
- Level 1 as a "physical" healing level: incl. brief introduction and overview of the cause & effects of disease
- An introduction to the energetic body: incl. chakras, "auras", energy fields, meridians overview, colours and functions, and alternative ways of sensing
- Journaling as Reiki tool
